Today, I’m sharing all my favorite healthy recipe blogs! When I’m sitting down to do my menu planning for the week, these are the websites I go to.
What’s that meme that everyone shares on the internet these days – being an adult is having to decide what to cook for dinner every single night until you die? That one totally hits home for me. I love cooking, but I still get tired of having to decide what to make for 3 meals a day every single day.
I’m sharing this post in hopes of giving you some recipe ideas for you and your family. Along with the blog, I’m sharing my favorites recipes from each website. All these recipes I’ve made and loved.
Side note – you have no idea how hungry I got writing this post.
My Favorite Healthy Recipe Blogs

Two Peas and Their Pod Blog and Cookbook
Maria’s recipes span the spectrum of healthy to indulgent, and they are always super family-friendly. I’ve made so many recipes from her site, but some of my favorite ones are this beef chili (my go-to chili recipe), this guacamole, this honey mustard sheet pan chicken and brussels sprouts, these turkey tacos, and this creamy chicken noodle soup. She also has a cookbook!

The Defined Dish Blog and Cookbook
Alex’s site is so beautiful and chockfull of healthy, whole food recipes. There is so many I want to make, but the ones I’ve made so far and really loved are this blackened pan-seared salmon with whole30 tarter sauce, these rotisserie chicken tostadas, perfect whole30 Italian meatballs, this so delicious zuppa toscana, and these juicy indoor burgers with burger sauce (so good!). I also own and love her cookbook.

Cookie and Kate and the Love Real Food Cookbook
Kate is my go-to resource for healthy breakfast and vegetarian recipes. Her salad recipes are amazing, and I’ve taken them to many a family dinner. She also has recipes for how to cook basically any vegetable, and shares monthly roundups with seasonal recipe ideas. I’ve made her banana bread and banana muffin recipe more times than I can count. This salad recipe with apples, cranberries, and pepitas is my go-to potluck dish. And this shredded brussels sprouts and arugula salad and these black bean sweet potato enchiladas are fall favorites.

I’m obsessed with Ambitious Kitchen. I’ve probably made about 30 recipes from her site, and they’ve almost all been well loved in the Rohr house. It would take me a long time to list all my recommendations here, but I’ll try to call out a few: one pan tandoori chicken with spiced coconut rice, curry cashew chickpea quinoa salad, vegan stir fry sesame noodles, honey lemon garlic salmon, healthier turkey sloppy joes, and spicy black bean chicken enchiladas with pumpkin sour cream sauce.
